WATERCOLOR WORKSHOP with The Mint Gardener
Join acclaimed Watercolor artist and teacher Sarah Simon of The Mint Gardener here in Sunlight for a very special Watercolor Workshop.
Sometimes it just helps to SEE the magic happening. Come join us as we watercolor together in the light-filled Sunlight Studio, painting and learning the joy of watercolor with Sarah Simon, TheMintGardener!
After this class with Sarah, you will be skilled and knowledgeable, with the new ability to see and recreate the watercolor process confidently, layer by layer. During our time together, you will learn the techniques Sarah uses for watercolor, and see how she uniquely teaches the foundations of this art as a transferable and mindful skill. Sarah teaches you step-by-step, and once you know how to paint a few flowing washes, that knowledge can be used to paint a piece from Sarah’s Watercolor Workbook together.
The possibilities are endless with this beautiful art form. Once you work through the foundations together, you will work on a pre-drawn template, so no drawing is required. With this class registration, you will receive all of the materials you need to continue to paint at home: professional watercolor paints and brushes with a curated palette or our lovely event, along with your own Workbook to take home. Sarah cannot wait for you to join her; to fall in love with the flowing freedom of watercolor, and the beauty of watching paint and water dance along your pages.
If you have one of Sarah’s books, please feel free to bring it with you and she can sign it. She will also have a collection of all of her books available for purchase and signing after class as well!
